Genevieve Artadi

This evening, an artist who already wowed the audience at her festival debut in 2021 as part of the Expensive Magnets formation returns to the stage of the Cologne Philharmonie for Cologne Jazzweek: Genevieve Artadi. This time, however, the singer from L.A. will be performing with her own band, with whom she promises to ignite a firework display of soul, funk and hip-hop, combined with rather complex song structures and sound textures, as you would expect from jazz and the musical avant-garde. Artadi has earned a unique international reputation as a singer in the duo KNOWER, her multimedia approach has been shaping the music scene worldwide for over a decade and her album “Genevieve Forever” triggered a wave of enthusiasm among audiences and in the media in 2023.
