Swiss accordionist Anatole Muster is redefining the possibilities of his instrument and making it accessible to a wide audience. In his live performances, however, he plays not only the traditional button accordion but also two of his signature instruments: a laptop keyboard and a MIDI-controlled breathalyzer synthesizer. His global network includes big names like Louis Cole and the two bassists Hadrien Feraud and Federico Heliodoro. His first albums, “Wonderful Now” (2024) and “Hopecore” (2025), have made him and his unusual music popular in many places: the number of streams of his tracks is approaching ten million. Muster is an optimist by nature. He embraces complexity with ease and is determined to create music that truly inspires. He effortlessly navigates through laid-back hyperpop, 1980s jazz fusion, hybrid Midwest emo, minimalist plugg, and atmospheric Brazilian jazz.
