Since 2022, the Cologne-based collective Impakt e.V. has been presenting “Bruitkasten” at the “Gemeinde, Ebertplatz” gallery: This concert series is a space for musical experimentation, spontaneous encounters, and extraordinary listening experiences in a communal atmosphere. For Cologne Jazzweek, Bruitkasten offers a glimpse into the diversity of its program: Three sets showcase different facets of contemporary improvisation, ranging from acoustic sound exploration to collective free improvisation and performative electronic music.
The “Gemeinde, Ebertplatz” gallery is located on the ground floor and is accessible by wheelchair. There is a restroom, but it is not wheelchair-accessible.
