Jump!

The Jump! trio moves sure-footedly at the interface between experimental electronics, industrial club, glitch-heavy improvisation and danceable beats. Jump! features experimental vocal artist Thea Soti, producer and drummer Anthony Greminger and pianist and synthesiser player Darius Heid aka Dr Hyde. Together they work on an energetic and heterogeneous symbiosis that focuses entirely on unpredictability and sonic intensity. Apocalyptic synth pads, compressed industrial rhythms and Soti’s vocals, oscillating between sonic intimacy and technological vacuum, often create a dystopian, dark atmosphere. Jump!’s live performances are not usually concerts in the traditional sense, but immersive, border-crossing experiences and adventures for both the audience and the three musicians: disturbing and euphoric at the same time.
