T.ON meets HxH

The trio T.ON with Matthias Muche (trombone), Constantin Herzog (bass) and Etienne Nillesen (extended snare drum) moves in the border area between jazz, improvised and new music. The goal of the three musicians from Cologne is to develop an abstract language that retains its narrative character and forms a music that constantly sets out on new adventures in sound and stretches genre concepts to the limits of meaning. Since February 2023, there is the concert series “T.ON meets …”, for which the three T.ON musicians invite colleagues from all over the world to Cologne to explore new paths of musical expression together. At Cologne Jazzweek they meet cellist Mariel Roberts from the USA.
